Black Bryony

Having completed my diploma course, I was looking for a fun project to focus on up to Christmas. Whilst out walking the Box Hill Hike with my daughter in preparation for her DofE, we saw a lot of black bryony growing in the bare hedgerows and I decided that this would be my next painting.

I developed the painting over several weeks – I particularly enjoyed working on adding the dried out leaves.
